The third edition of the Pakistan Super League will commence from February in Dubai. Matches will be played in Karachi Lahore Sharjah and Abu Dhabi aside from Dubai with the PSL 2018 final to be played in Karachi at the mercy of security clearances. According to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the PSL event will begin with its first match on February 22, concluding the series with the final match on March 25, 2018, in a Peshawar Zalmi playoff against the new entrants Multan Sultans.

With a sixth team is added, the number of games in the group stages of the tournament are expected to go up from 20 to 30 before the Psl playoffs will see an addition of four more matches.

A total of 34 matches will be played at four venues next year. The venues [as of now] are Dubai, Sharjah, Lahore, and Karachi,” the sources said. “Initially, Abu Dhabi was also among the proposed venues but it wasn’t logistically possible for us to have the matches there

Sources also added that none of the matches will be held in Abu Dhabi due to logistical issues.

More details on the third season and the Pakistan Super League PSL schedule will be available closer to the season. However what is known for now is that the defending PSL champions Peshawar Zalmi want some games of the PSL 2018 to be played in Peshawar.

The official announcement for PSL – 3 will be made next week, a source related to the matter declared. According to latest reports, Sethi has indicated that four PSL 2018 final could be played in Karachi, while two playoffs might be played in Lahore. The PSL schedule will be released closer to the start of the competition.

The first and second playoffs will be performed in Sharjah as the third playoff will be managed by Dubai. When the tournament gets its security clearance the ultimate will be held on March 7 in Lahore. The entire timetable of psl 2018 is located below.

You could download psl 3 schedule here. All matches will be played at 4 grounds – Lahore, Karachi, Dubai International Cricket Stadium and Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium as announced by the PCB.

Karachi’s National Stadium is going under renovation process which is expected to complete before PSL final for the third edition of the tournament in 2018.

PCB has reportedly allocated ten million rupees for this purpose.
